He strategically navigated Microsoft Corporation and KPMG through disruption and ongoing competitive threats, building the operational pillars needed to scale national and international markets. His thought leadership has enhanced the growth and capabilities of workforces of up to 200K.

 

As a Senior Advisor and Partner at KPMG, Mike set the foundational framework for the firm’s emphasis on expanding next-generation leadership. He built a seven-point strategic roadmap for advancing senior talent professional development, and promotional opportunities and designed and initiated the firmwide implementation of an enhanced onboarding and integration experience. As KPMG’s Chief Learning Officer and National Operations Leader, he spearheaded a complete operating model transformation, unifying learning, and workforce development for 37,000 employees.

Mike began his record of innovative influence within KPMG as a Principal in Management Consulting, where he helped establish and drove the expansion of its data insights practice while bringing targeted solutions, transparency, and valuable guidance to global executives. Before joining KPMG, Mike moved through multiple leadership roles within Microsoft, impacting a variety of business divisions and leading matrixed teams throughout the successful delivery of high-quality products.

He is a Founding Advisory Board Member of EZRA, a global virtual coaching and learning provider that is revolutionizing how companies develop their workforces. Additionally, he is an Advisor to BigSpring and a Talent Strategist to St. Charles Consulting Group, an NIIT company.

Committed to continuous growth and better practice-sharing, Mike wrote The Talent-Fueled Enterprise: A Powerful Approach to Build Tomorrow’s Workforce, a talent strategy guide that offers business leaders insights on how organizations can build tomorrow’s workforce with resilience and durability.

Mike completed his professional coach training at the Institute for Transformational Leadership at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He holds a Master of Education from Columbia University and both a Master of Arts in Linguistics and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Hawaii.
